Audioactive is an MP3 encoder created by a partnership between Telos Systems and the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft Laboratory (the creators of MP3)

  • Clams to have CD quality sound at 128kbps
  • Does well at low bitrates < 128
  • Does not support VBR encoding
  • Slow encoding
