This is not a "feature" of WASPI's exclusive mode...it's a side-effect since the application is taking control of the hardware and system sounds and other shared mode applications are unable to access it at that time. While this may be more guaranteed than KS...it's still *not* a feature and a side effect. I've never seen Windows use ASIO output for anything...ever...so I have no idea why that's even brought up. 96.231.212.146 20:21, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
