ATAPI iHS324F CL8M fault?

After a change from a pionner dvd rom to the liteon mentioned, and putting the writer offset to -6 after comparing wavs, the result is that all tracks are 0:00:02.00 longer. Is it the dvd writer's fault? I have changed at least 10 writers and none had this issue.
